Created by the Kennedy Center’s Education Department to provide resources for artists, teachers, and students, African Odyssey Interactive provides a broad look into African culture. The site highlights dance, literary arts, visual arts, music, and theater. Additionally, the “History” section contains articles and nation profiles. Supplementary chapters are available to elementary and middle school teachers, and the information and storytelling activities are especially helpful. This site nicely complements study of the cultural legacy of West Africa.
