Basic Training_Starting The School Year Right
Take control of the first days of school by getting students immersed in procedures and protocols of hands-on learning. You’ll find four lessons to get students engaged and trained to have successful experiences with TCI. These lessons are appropriate for upper elementary school through high school.

Brian,
Thanks for the detail lessons. I am new to the program and I found this VERY helpful!

Lesson A: We thought this first lesson was great, however, there wasn’t enough explanation about the four-person group situation. It was difficult to understand what the students were actually supposed to do. Otherwise, it went well.
Lesson B: We would have liked to have plans adjusted for those of us doing the actual consumable workbook.
Thanks for putting these together. It is a great way to introduce the kids to TCI!

Karen, thanks so much for the feedback on the lessons. I will revisit lesson A and make sure that the directions are more clear on what groups are expected to do.
As to lesson B, I wanted to make something generic as many users who come to our site may not have TCI in their classes or are using our HS programs (which do not have consumables). As we look to the future, perhaps we can add a lesson in for consumable notebooks.
Great to hear that you like the lessons. Please feel free to share your feedback and your own ideas! That’s why we’ve created TeacherGenius. Have a great school year!
